Cheryl,

Since this debate seems to be shifting from the technological market place to the political arena, the term "Gang of Five" has a more resonant quality to it than the "NOISE" coalition.

Whether or not these people make the Hale-Boppers seem a paragon of reason, the relevant question is the validity of the message, or lack thereof, not the credentials of the messenger.
