people who make under $250K will go in a big way for no tax on dividends, no tax on capital gains (stocks/mutual funds/bond appreciation), and no tax on interest. that is a point that a huge number of people will go for, and it definitely hits the middle class and under. those over 250K will continue to pay capital gains taxes. i think this is a great tax abatement idea that will appeal to lots of adult voters whether dems or republicans.
