Oh also, on a different topic. I am now increasingly convinced that Obama's single biggest mistake in his campaign for re-election was not to toss Biden in favor of Hillary. Obama is losing the Independents like me by a large margin now. Some 70% of us are now planning to vote for Romney. Hillary might have swayed us to stay with Obama. I think a credible plan for fiscal sanity and a removal of Bernanke would have been a clincher for me as well. Anyway, if Obama loses to Romney, one of the big reasons will be because he didn't sweeten the deal for Independents. Hillary might have been that sweetener.
