Let me tell you............I have been following politics in this country very closely since 1999. There is no way anyone of sane mind can say there is a reasonable comparison between the Dems and the Rs in this country. Sure Dems are not saints.......I have never pretended they were. However, Rs are some of the most despicable people in this country.............and your Mr. Romney isn't that much different. They have caused untold levels of destruction to both our economy and to our well being. Mr. Obama may not be perfect but compared to Romney he is a saint. And as far as how you are justifying your position, well more than one person on this thread has told you that you are FOS.

Why I don't bother to engage with you any longer which in your mind justifies you're calling me intellectually weak is because you are lost cause. You are one of these people who got on a wrong track and have convinced yourself that you see things the rest of don't see. You are wrong and sadly you will be wrong all the way to your grave.

One last thing..........I don't trust anything a person says who is so afraid of his colleagues that he doesn't tell them in what state he lives. That borders on the disturbed.

OK, Ted. If that makes you feel better. I've noted before that labeling people and character assassination is the refuge of people who fail to debate the merits of their argument successfully. It is the refuge of the intellectually weak. So call me a GOP member or whatever else makes you feel better about yourself. I don't really care. However, you won't get anywhere with Independents unless you are able to refute my positions with facts and superior logic.

Oh and btw, I was registered as a Democrat since 2003, after having voted for both Kerry and Obama. As of two weeks ago, I re-registered and am officially Unaffiliated, which means I'm an Independent. And I live in a swing state, so my vote counts.

But knock yourself out believing I'm a GOP member, if that helps you rationalize your rose tint to your glasses when it comes to Obama and his policies. This is exactly why the group of Independents keeps getting larger. Most of us are sick of members of both parties who stick their head in the sand, bow down to lofty degrees and titles, abdicate their brain to higher powers, and stick to unworkable ideologies.

How about you start doing your own research and using your brain for a change? It's refreshing when you use logic, instead of feasting on sound bites from intellectual midgets in the mainstream media.
