Those questions are too open ended. You don't ask questions like that in a trial for the reason that they invite a rambling response that only can benefit the person being questioned. Romney shouldn't do that. Also, he can't do a typical cross-examination style, which would come across as disrespectful.

A post further upstream framed the perfect way to get the people thinking, without being disrespectful to the President (which could alienate some). Instead of asking, "Mr. President, why..." (which only invites obfuscation in the reply), better to phrase the questions thusly:

I really don't understand why it has been established that the Benghazi attack was watched for hours in real time and yet there was no response?

I find it amazing that the President would not be contacted?

It is difficult to understand how assets were not made available to provide assistance during the many hours the attack take place?

Hillary has taken responsibility for the response, but in any organization, including the US Government, the buck stops at the top office, that would be the President.

It is incomprehensible to me that after four Americans were killed in a terrorist attack on American ground, the President would jet off to Las Vegas for a fund raiser.
