Yes, it is.
I am utterly familiar with all the settings, went to school there as a kiddo for two years, swung a bat where you saw the kids swing a bat. It was a nice place, very midwestern, idyllic in many ways as the Romney at the end of the video says. Boarded with a family who couldn't have treated me better.
School was open to Anglos and Hispanics, and you didn't have to be a Mormon to attend. I am not, never was. They didn't push their religion on me at all; if they did, it was too subtle for my adolescent brain to capture.
The LeBarons were deemed the nuts of the group, ostracized because they did practice polygamy and had some outre religious views. As you saw, one of them did end up going over the edge. Jon Krakauer has a great book on them, don't recall the title. I'm pretty sure none of the LeBarons attended the school.
I think life will be very rough on Romney's Mexican cousins if he wins as they will become valuable prey for the narcos. Hell, they're valuable prey now because, like the Israelis, they've turned a shit-hole into a very nice place, and made a lot of money in the process. They have lots of money available for ransom. Plus, the Romney clan has a rep for being able to make a buck, as Mitt has shown. Very pragmatic folks, as you saw. No problem disagreeing with Mitt on immigration and drugs. I loved the diving board and swimming pool analogy.
