I've heard about this part of the plan for some months now. Thing is, for people that trade for a living like me, if he means both short and long term capital gains are exempt, does my first quarter mil of trading gains become tax free? Throw in the fact that I don't have to pay self employment tax and it sure seems like a 'windfall' that the 'folks' won't take kindly to....
