HI Bill: That doesnt make sense. I could see drilling starting in early
February., the lake was sampled last summer if I recall. Maybe some
close spaced geophysics tightening the grids would be needed prior
to spoting the holes.. But imo the 900 or so
samples that were collected last summer and bathymetric surveys
should give them a pretty good indication where to stick those drills.
Another thing., rememember the work that was done on the dykes after the thirteen holes were drilled this spring. If they dont know where to take that bulk sample on the dykes., maybe Walt and I
could catch a truck out of Yellowknife., grab a low boy., load a D-8
cat., blasting caps., and dynamite along with the PERMITs and head
North. Hell if the Winter road isnt in we could set Snotfinger on the
bed and make us a YELLOWBRICK ROAD TO SNAP LAKE. He might even want to flash a caribou or two along the way. He,.he., he
couldnt help that one., sorry just in fun.
In all seriousness., I would be somewhat disappointed to see this
program get that late a start. If I recall last year they were on the property the first week of Jan., drilling was held up due to the financing closing. IMO there is no reason that the dyke cant be sampled as soon as the equipment is ready.
Sincerely
George
Maybe a call to Winspear would clear this up.
