That is the point of my post. What the current president has done is make the lease holders either drill or forfeit their leases. This has been spun into he is reducing federal permits. The EPA is looking into fracking and possible ground water contamination. So far I see no connection but I am not an expert in that field. EOR methods are the future and the future is now. Forget that pipeline crap. Until the portion from Cushing to the Gulf is complete there is no need for it at this time. From the latest info I received Cushing still has a glut of crude. And the Canadian govt. has a big headache with their proposed pipeline going west. It has to cross Indian Nations land and by TREATY they have to get permission and pay up. Look at what the native tribes got in payment the last time around. A couple of "state of the art" refineries and we will see $50 pbl crude and $2.50 or so gasoline, IMHO. RDK.
