Arnie:

I pretty much agree with your assesment of NXTL from a fundamental perspective and the trading range the stock is currently in. Ed, may get filled at 24, however, for a long term player such as yourself, you will in all probability get that maid, caviar, and car several years out without doing little else than holding should the economy and markets hold up.
I think that the march to its old highs will begin before the end of January. By early January, the numbers for fourth quarter ad ons should start filtering in. If they are as good as expected, NXTL will lead the January effect. Also, as someone mentioned, there was a very interesting article from OTA research on the MSN investor site the other day. The most exciting part of the article dealt with the NXTL units being accepted by high end corporate users. I would think that the newer lighter units would have a great deal of appeal for these users and could provide the resource of new users to move nextel into positive cash flow by the end of 98. If this happens in a good market environment, the march to 55 will be imminent. I have been unable to get a definitive answer for the release of the lighter units. Anyone have more concrete info on this.

Ken
