iz, you are right. Ofcourse, I thought of u when msft took off from a bull flag (and i don't even know what bullflag is). I am a bit stubborn and don't listen to people. I knew I IBM is solid and they were the first to buy back their stock on the morning after (oct.27), even knowing Lou was going hang around and all the good news. I sold IBM on Friday and I am sorry. I seem to like tinkering around w. my investments instead of doing what Franks says. B and Hold. I Buy and Fiddle. I am still holding on to my T. I have cpq/dell so I had to reduce IBM just to make sure i did not have too much techs. T is on dogs of dow list at Schwab. (uit ). You are truly a Wiz and I have lost my touch with the market. I just don't have it anymore. I Used to be so smart in a Bull market. what happened? Wiz, I am very much sold on the idea re: ass-et al-location so I figure i need to put money in the bond market and thought i hate so much. what do i do? In aobut 2-3 yrs. My kids need tution money (25k*2= 50k/yr) so I need to put atleast 200k in bonds so it will be there when they need it. QUESTION 1: I keep thinking what if i get caught up in a bear market and need the money? Japan has been going down for 10yrs now and how long might the bear market last here? All this stops me from being fully invested. QUESTION 2: Any thoughts would be appriciated? I have been fighting this issue now for 4-6 weeks .
