AND FLORIDA'S WOMEN PREFER OBAMA BY JUST A SLIM MARGIN

(NEWSER) – In case you haven't totally OD'd on polls yet: CNN has a new one indicating that President Obama and Mitt Romney are statistically tied in the swing state of Florida. The survey of 1,030 adults gave Romney a 49% to 48% lead, with the usual division between younger, less affluent voters preferring Obama and older, more moneyed ones liking Romney. One interesting tidbit: Women lean toward Obama by a tiny difference of 49% to 47% in the Sunshine State.

"This suggests that in Florida women are voting more on the basis of pocketbook concerns and issues that split young and old throughout the country," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. (More good news for Romney in Florida: the Orlando Sentinel endorses him.)
