Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S2 (2011 models) coming in November. Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 10.1 to get it before the end of this year. Posted on October 20, 2012 in News by Abhijeet theandroidsoul.com Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note have been waiting impatiently for some word on when, or even if Samsung is going to update those two devices to Jelly Bean. However, considering the original Galaxy S got two major upgrades of Android, I was kinda certain the Galaxy S2/Note would be getting another major update after ICS, and Samsung Sweden has just confirmed it. The Galaxy S2 is expected to get the Android 4.1update in November, while the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note 10.1 will get it before the end of this year. Of course, this is just tentative and the updates could get delayed, but considering there had been no word about updates for the Galaxy S2 and the Note till now, even a tentative date is sure to make people happy. Now, let us pray Samsung is quick and delivers timely updates instead of making us wait till the next year. Via: Sammobile
