How is it off-topic? Agricultural products prices are up. Because of the droughts. You seemed to imply that was Obama's fault. The only way it could be his fault is if he controlled the weather.

About 90 percent of ethanol in the U.S. is made from corn, due in large part to federal subsidies to encourage the production and consumption of corn-based ethanol.
I have argued against it since the early 1980s. A lot of those subsidies were done or expanded under the Reagan administration.
