I had another thought on this post. Granted we were right about switched FC, but we only had one company to bet on. Many of us would probably have been able to quit our day jobs if Ancor had release similar to Brocade's - and there was similar speculation about future sales.

I think Brocade may be making a marketing mistake themselves, by producing too much positive news before the IPO. If they really wait until late 1998 - I will be very cautious about the share price. It might be more than fairly valued.
