A general comment on the market: It looks like the market just wants to go up from here. I think we will test the old highs from some months ago. If we break them, which I suspect we will, then I see the market convulsing upwards faster and farther than hardly anyone expects. Some time in the spring I suspect we will hit 10,000. IMO that will signal a major top and I think we will take a humongous hit there, perhaps knocking the market all the way back down to 8000, where we are now. So it looks to me pretty risky here shorting most stocks, except for the ones that you just know aren't real like a lot of the y2k stocks. I suspect the yahoo's and the ctxs's are going to just keep going and going and going and going... I think the thread needs to find stocks that will tank even while the overall market is making a 2000 point move upward. Perhaps the stocks that are extremely dependent on asia are good bets, though I don't know a good source for finding those stocks. Anyway that's my opinion now for what it's worth.
