It is the two wars we fought on a credit card while at the same time gave tax breaks to the rich. Put aside playing with words such as %GDP etc. and we can clearly see that things started going downhill since 2001-2002 time frame and it peaked 6 months after Bush left office. We scientists call that the inertia effect that Bush left us with. I know it will be hard to admit that. but I think it is a good time for me to end this exchange from my side.
