I wonder if the President's CIA briefing was intentionally vague and incorrect because the Obama administration knew that Romney would be given the information, so they wanted it to be wrong.

I remember hearing at the time that Romney still had not received his first intelligence briefing.
According to this, his first was on Sept 17th.
