I preface this reply with IMO, since who the hell knows what will happen.

If you're looking at a long term investment (over 3 months to me), I say load up now, leaving some of your money designated for IOM aside in case we see $30.

If you're in it for a quick buck, play the options. IMO, the Feb 25s are the very best play. I don't see us retracing back to $25 anytime soon, and there is a very slight premium on this option. Do not chase the ask by putting in a bid below it. When you're comfortable with the ask, take it. Otherwise, you're a dead duck with these. The minute the market makers sense interest, they move everything away from you.

Come December 23, you'll have double the options, and the premium should expand accordingly.

Of course, your opinion on how the market will do the next 2 months is critical. I'm an all out bull and believe we'll see over 8500 by the end of January. However, if you're not, then be careful.
