A lot of polls are becoming tracking polls between now and the election. One of them appears to be PPP (D). The latest poll with [+6% Democrat, 55% women], result is:
Romney: 49%
Obama: 47%

2008 Party ID: +7% Dems
2012 Party ID? My guess 0% to 4% Dems nationally...

Anytime a national poll is > +4% Dem just automatically add the difference > 4% (to be conservative). In our case above, +2% for a +6% sample. Resulting in something like:
Romney 51%
Obama 47%

In other words, Romney +4% nationally in this poll....

Lot's of gems here, such as favorability...
