But in recent decades, it became obvious that those born in the 21st century are the ones who really struck the jackpot. Look at the cars, cellphones, medical treatments, airliners, seeds, pesticides, everything is fantastic compared with only 40 years ago let alone 60 years ago when the baby boomers got going. Now, 7 billion people enjoy amazing lifestyles compared with those of their billion ancestors. It's the most phenomenally fantastic time ever and gaining ground in leaps and bounds. Optical fibre is strung around the hinterlands of Angola, Globalstar satellites circle the planet delivering voice to anywhere. Not many decades ago Angolans were firing bullets at each other.
