Booth and Giteau were children of relatively well off families. Czolgosz and Oswald were disaffected children of broken families. Death threats should always be taken seriously.

There have been more than a few posters on SI through the years who should have gotten visits from the Secret Service.

I HOPE the secret service really goes after the people that wrote that stuff and finds out WHO they really were. It might be interesting to find out the authors of those tweets.

Anyone who feels they have the right to individually change the course of history by assassination needs to become intimately acquaint ed with the inside of a prison cell. Despite the fact that Obama has been the worst PResident in HIstory, nobody should take history into their own hands.
