Yes, I was disappointed when Netscape went under.

But Microsoft was unable to stop the development of Firefox, which I now use exclusively. And I understand that Chrome is also quite good, although I've never used it. So MSFT was unsuccessful in their long term goal.

And I've never noticed my computer being screwed up from having downloaded the latest fixes of Windows.
