Predatory pricing is an extremely powerful weapon. I don't think the public is well served by allowing it without any controls at all.

"Predatory." Sure sounds nasty, doesn't it? It's a pejorative term used to describe something we don't like. The word is defined as the use of force or fraud. In a Free Enterprise market place with a good Judicial system, there is no use of force or fraud.

It's a key term to the Left. Marxists have sold it as the bad part of Capitalism. To them, there is no difference in the use of a gun and the use of the market.

As long as you believe it, the Socialist has a useful way to beat you in a political discussion. You will always fall back on, "now I am for Capitalism, BUT, you have to have laws to stop predatory pricing." That gives the Leftist the opening he needs to put you on the slippery slope to Socialism.
