In the above video we have Tap to Send being demoed on two Samsung ATIV S NFC enabled Windows Phone 8 handsets. The carrier for the data is in fact Bluetooth, but the NFC allows the pairing process to be near instantaneous. Tap to Share will be enabled in numerous areas of the OS, including the Office Hub, and NFC pairing will also be used to set up proximity pairing to allow Peer to Peer games.
