David, As we are equals within the Commission, I would never doubt your wisdom........But..... LASX has some monster possibilities in China......Like hundreds of millions of Bio-ID cards......In a Ratman-less environment. China has alot of American dollars that need to come home. FINX claims to have a 1000+ dpi system......although it is hard to tell from the stock price. I would have to go back to the IBM white paper on the future and requirements of the Very Large Data Base.......If there is an advanced technology there.....we could pick it up for a song. Diebold will come around.......There will be problems. "It was not me"....prove it in court! Fingerprint data is court proven.......Face recognition is not. Iris scaning is not......Retinal scaning is not. Body oder sniffing is not. This message is important for Night Writer also.........How do you answer the final question?....."It was not me!"....It may have been my computer and my password and it was encypted to the hilt.......but it was not me......."Proove it was me"........or give me my money back. bg ps. Huge news...just out....No more food stamp coupons....Debit Cards.......How far down the road can bio-authentication be?
