Did you immediately realize that 60% more than $499 was $798?

Think about those numbers. Thats an astonishing difference.

Apple is making crazy stupid decisions, and that math should cast it in stark relief.

That was Cogito's example, not mine. And he was comparing a new, unreleased OS (Win RT) to Google Android. Apple is the Johnny come lately in the 7" space... Google has a polished, solid product. Have you used a Nexus 7 or a MiniPad? Apple's entry parlay is practically humorous. Apple will drop the price... quickly. This is certain.
