Did you immediately realize that 60% more than $499 was $798?
Annie was right. You were being rude. This is also rude, in being condescending. You aren't the only person around here who can do math. We all got it about the 60%. Please do me a favor and try to be respectful of the rules around here.

Meanwhile, your whole line of reasoning makes no sense. It's completely silly to compare the base price of the least expensive item in one product line to the most expensive product in another line. Nobody is going to be deciding between those two units.

Think for a minute about the car buyer who buys a Honda Civic, then spends thousands pimping it out. So now he's riding around in a pimped out Civic that cost more than the base model Accord. Do you think he kicks himself, thinking he should have bought the Accord?

Similarly, a person who wants a 64GB iPad mini with LTE isn't going to think, "Wow, for less money I could get a ten inch iPad with a lot less storage and no cellular access." Nor is he going to think, "Hey, I should just get a Nexus 7, because it's really bitchen, and a lot cheaper, and once again, who cares if it doesn't offer enough storage space or have LTE."
