Socialism inevitably leads to an ever increasing size of government encroachment, until very little freedom, economic or otherwise, exists. Don't believe me? Look at what's happening in Europe where socialism has been experimented with for decades. They are barely able to carry their own weight. Uh.........I AM looking at Europe...........Scandinavia has some of the best economies in the world and Germany is the second largest exporter...was the largest until 2010........in the world.........ahead of purely capitalistic US of A. What Europe has done is taken the best of socialism and combined it with the best of capitalism. Unthinkable in this country because of crazy Rs.
