Jay: You could be right, then again, this is war and you've got to be concerned with tactics. That is, what's Brocade got lurking just over the horizon..... If I was the Broc. tactician, I'd now wait for a ANCR counter, then follow it up with some sort of new, splendiferously marvelous counter product that blow's away the competion. Of course, how far away that splendiferous thing is, is the question.
It points to ANCR's current window of opportunity. I hope they get thru it using all those here talked about behind the scenes maneuverings with the likes of Sun, etc.(but is that just hype?) before the competition closes it on 'em. Jeez, don'tcha just love watching the opening shots in a business war,,,,just like chess....the opening moves often determine the end game. The question is the skill of the players and the strategy they employ. Meanwhile, I wouldn't be surprised to see ANCR break down below $5 tomorrow, the slide is accelerating toward that earlier posted double bottom.
