we are neglecting the possibility and the importance of supernatural divine illumination...we are being selfish to rely on our own powers of observation, and such pride is the essence of the devil....this is what our mothers taught us, and how many of us can disregard the approval of our mothers?
That is the main reason I can't accept a complete Ayn Rand world view as it forbids the possibility of the supernatural.
