Well one of the purposes is absolutely to use it as a word processor like my laptop. I type very quickly and will use whatever I get for writing as well as the other fun stuff. That is... unless the VoiceRecognition software is finally good enough... I have to say, I was VERY impressed with the one I had a few years ago (Dragon?)... I could record a lecture and dictate it straight in pretty well. DAK
