By insisting on austerity as the solution to their economic problems when its been shown over and over again that during a recession austerity doesn't work. Why did Greece and Spain allow Merkel to get that power? They wanted to join the EU......it was very popular a few years back to do so. I don't remember Merkel running for the president (or whatever) of Greece. Oh please........stop with the naiveté.
