I would imagine that, should Romney win, the bullish vectors for gold would be

hot wars,
trade wars,
currency wars,
war financing,
religious fundamentalism,
voodoo economics,
neo con politics, and

given his stance on the 47%, concatenating with the homeland hollow points on order together w/ the homeland defense exercises against zombie invasion, sounds like prospective civil war between the generations and classes, spiced up with ethnic this and bankrupt states that.

Above would be a reasonable guess should one unsubscribe to the fiction that the president, enabled by whomever, and put in place by whomever, actually makes directional policy, as opposed to fine tuning tactics in a given and fixed strategy.
