unprecedented storm to hit NJ/NY. Storm surge up to 10 ft moving thru Narrows into NY harbor will be catastrophic. My sister just evacuated her home in NJ in anticipation of 4+ FEET of water in the first floor of her home at high tide tonight. During Irene last year, she only saw 4 inches of water in the first floor. This is an extremely dangerous storm with 90+ MPH winds and a record storm surge in the area.
