Bob Mansfield will lead a new group, Technologies, which combines all of Apple’s wireless teams across the company in one organization, fostering innovation in this area at an even higher level. This organization will also include the semiconductor teams, who have ambitious plans for the future.

A reorganization (they didn't call it that but that's what it is) is an admission that things are amiss. They miss Jobs, no doubt in my mind. The retail guy gone without a replacement is another red flag.

Cook better get it right, first time. If you get a second reorganization six-twelve months down the road, you'll know management is struggling. Lack of effective leadership. We've all seen it 1000 times.

A piece of the puzzle is missing. Something is wrong at Apple.
