How much is the arbitrage saving worth?

If you wanted to buy 1000 BORL shares you could either buy 1000
BORL shares at 10.25 for a total of $10250.

To get the same amount of shares you could buy 1234 VSGN shares
at 7.88 for a total of $9723.

The saving is therefore about $527 at 1000 shares.

For larger amounts the saving could be considerable at 10000 BORL
shares (=12340 VSGN) the saving would be about $5270.

Of course it might sound strange to place an order for 1234
shares .

As for ending up with an odd number of shares this is a fairly
frequent result for an investor either through bonus issues or
dividend reinvestment schemes.

There is of course the risk that the whole deal may unwind in
which case you would be holding VSGN shares which may only be
worth $5...I guess you have to assess that risk.
