Len, I hope there is an answer to this, as the question of the complete worship of the little patch of land now designated as Isreal, and a feeling of complete oneness and adoration of every single person who lives there, whether they be foaming at the mouth atheists, or whatever their spiritual and moral condition, is something I'm not sure I understand. I know that between the love Jesus the man had for the country of his youth, versus the absolute worship the born-again community gives it, is still unclear to me. I just don't see logic in it, and I'm glad someone brought it up. I believe there is a little more to this rubic cube than we yet have determined.

Jesus may come down on the Mount of Olives, which well may be one of the focal points of the earth if the new temple is built and the Pope is relocated to "the place of origin" as is planned by many, and openly hinted at in newsprint here and there. But as for the New Jersulam coming down on top of the old Jerusalem, does it?

I'm more interested in breaking down the barriers separating those who love the Father in Heaven by the name of Allah, and those who love the FAther in Heaven by the name God the Father, and those who love the Father in Heaven by the original name of Jehovah. That's where my priorities are, but I do want to know the significance of Isreal, because if I'm supposed to have any worship for it or the inhabitants, I just don't and need to be corrected.

So, I hope Jack and Shalom can shed more light on this from scripture, as the reality really is like you state. Somewhere between the two is the way God would have us see it, I'm sure.
