Cable as I understand is one way with a phone line in the other direction...this sucks. Jeff, I believe you have been mislead by Web TV. Upstream and downstream is the same. No telephone line is used. Theroetical speed is 10mbs both ways. I have a four bridge modem with only three workstations connected to it. Thus, I can theoretically get 30 mbs but there is not enough backbone to the ISP if others are using it. When you have time, please see my ISP's home page at: highwaygds.net Glenn
