You have a Kindle right? That didn't prevent you from buying a Surface :).

Thats right. But the Kindle is a toy for content consumption, surfing, reading. Gaming and drawing for the kids.

And its a good value for that, although it pales in comparison to the newer Nexus 7 or Kindle HD, I read.

This different and new market for the 7" iPad mini is completely imaginary.
