Well at least their not buying at the top of the economic market cycle. I've not done any research on either company, but the market usually doesn't take to kindly if the acquisition is dilutive. OTOH if it's growing fast along with earnings and it can be integrated synergisticly . It could be a LT winner. IMO- You usually can tell how successful acquisitions are if the parent company decides to write off goodwill at once (bite the bullet)or over time.

My BRKS just announced quite a big one for their size. They paid just 20% over sales (63 million ) for a company having 3 million on trailing 12 month earnings. A little understatement as to forward projections I'm guessing.
