Nonsense.

If GM had been properly restructured with the UAW contracts killed (as it would have been) and the government backed the debt with corporate coupon rates, you would have had investors lining up to buy that debt. Particularly if they wanted to attach warrants, which could have been done if necessary.

You just don't have a clue what you're talking about. Hell, even small investors would have wanted a piece of that action.

There really isn't anything to say other than "You're wrong." We're not going to resolve this. The Obama smear job was evident from the outset, and in fact, it leaked out of Obama's campaign time and again that they knew they had nothing to run on and would have to resort to a totally negative campaign.

Hell, just last week Obama said, "Don't vote for me because of what I've done; vote for me because of what I'm GOING to do." That pretty much tells the story.
