YOu missed the rest of the thread of conversation. We were talking about Socialism. He pointed out Denmark as a Socialist country that has one of the happiest people. So I asked the next logical question. If you know me, then you'll also note that I'm pretty straight forward. I don't have any hidden agendas. I make no bones about the fact that I'm not a believer in Socialism. I think it is a creeper. Once Socialism takes root it grows ever more expansive and it stifles both free markets and freedoms. Then all the distortions Socialism creates are blamed on free markets and Capitalism to justify even larger government and fewer choices. We're already seeing that in this country. I don't want that for my children.
