Well, if you are going to embrace a superstition you must hug all of the dogma or it falls completely...
I think you are mostly right but I still believe there was an actual Jesus that walked the earth. We know for sure that half the apostles never met him. We know that the walking on water and immaculate conception were fabricated by the same people who brought us original sin. At the core there is probably a really good story that is lost in translation thanks to people just like gweggy who are too busy trying to convince themselves and the world what good little chimps they are.
