He's the guy who fought for iPhone having a real OS instead of a stripped down toy embedded system that the rest of the company was fighting for. No Forstall, no App Store, and who knows how big a negative impact that would have had on the iPhone's reception. You guys are crucifying someone extremely talented and capable to avoid dealing with what is (to me) the plain fact that something inside Apple is pretty seriously fucked up.
