Thanks, Kp=4 caught me off guard. I see a coronal hole but I was not expecting high speed wind for another couple of days. Ho hum. Maybe this is just the beginning :)

There was no eruption last weekend with Sandy. That's good and bad. A differently oriented jet + solar eruption would've deepened Sandy beyond Cat 2 status (I think she made landfall as low Cat 1 or tropical storm), however a stronger Sandy would've tracked differently and not have impacted NJ and NYC with direct winds blowing and dragging the ocean. It would've impacted someone along the coast line, however just maybe not as densely populated areas. Crazy stuff. I'm proud to see those affected keep heads up and recover.
