Something was particularly good about the Jesus story that allowed it to spread quickly. It was partly no doubt the fervour in which some of the adherents spread the message. Can you imagine what some cannibal in Borneo wondered after boiling and flailing alive a missionary and the next day more show up for the same treatment. To be a true believer a Christian needs no credentials just a willingness to blindly follow fellow members who have seen the light.
