There's only one economic system. What humans -either as a group or as individuals- do to it is to try to twink it for its own advantage. Organize economy life required specialized people. And those specialized people were the ones who tried to try to twink the system for their own advantage. Need to go back to the very beginning of economic life. You have tribes of people just producing for their own survival. But then one produces more than the other. Others will try to take it from him to keep themselves alive. The whole tribe produces more tan the other tribes. They come and attack to plunder. Need to organize defense. The whole tribe produces more than they need, they need to stock pile. They need to trade with other tribes. Need accountants and rules Guy dies and leaves his land animals and sons and daughters. Who inherit the property? Crops don't grow for lack of rain or pest destroy it. Need priests and medicine men to ask for divine help. People steal animals and crops. Need punish and enforce rules. The whole bunch of tribes and its nascent economic system starts to produce a surplus, others come to live among themselves. Women come to marry those men who can produce more goods. Take a little from everyone to pay for a bridge, a levee, a fence, a dam or other common goods required taxation. All those not involved in production: priests, medicine men, police, accountants become what we call government
