Romney presided over a balanced budget as Governor. So when he says he can work to balance the Federal budget, I believe he is better equipped than Obama.

Romney was also a successful business man. He built a very big business and that wasn't just dumb luck.

Obama's Dodd Frank bill continues to be a dismal failure. It was sold to us as reform, but it has no teeth in it and it doesn't address a single root cause. It's simply a sop to the masses to distract us from the real problems in banking.

As for my seemingly deaf ears to all the good things Obama has done, I've already told you why those things don't sway me. My number one priority is the long term prosperity of this country. Short term sugar highs don't count with me. My number one priority is voting for someone who can get rid of Bernanke and chart a new course of monetary stability. There is a higher probability that Romney will chart that course with Taylor, than Obama with Bernanke.

With everything I know about economics, to me it is a no-brainer that as long as Bernanke is in power, the macro situation will continue to deteriorate, despite the illusion of short term recovery we get from sugar highs that aren't sustainable.
