COMPLETELY agree with you. The legacy of old processing is now even a greater legacy ... as history. I consider myself to be a forward thinker as far as technology and future-think is concerned I underestimated the potential application of tablets. Sure my Board all uses them and has for two years now and I don't have to worry about hard drives or technical troubleshooting as I once did. And my staff use iPads to remote in whenever needed and can work from home. Even I have been working from home via an iPad remote connection to my PC when needed.

I've been shocked at just how little I need "processing" for anymore ... and I truly mean that. It's far more now about access to information and connection speed more than processing and legacy applications.

I'm very objective in my views and don't blindly support any one company. I'm not even a cult-of-mac type of user nor am I embedded into the Apple eco system. I don't have an iPod ... I don't own a Mac. But my wife who is about as technical as a loaf of bread has an iPhone, two iPods and wants a Mac. So does my daughter. And that primarily is what I hear from most all individuals and why I believe Mac will own the personal desktop soon. I still like my PC but I can see the end of life of it shortly.
